Little Ones Child Care - Daily Routine & Methods of Discipline

Breakfast is served as children arrive up to 8am. Lunch is served between 11:30 am and 12:00. Afternoon snacks are served when your child awakes from their nap. .We will go outside as weather and health permits. Structured and non-structured age appropriate activities will be provided throughout the day.

Note: Infants sleep and eat on an as need bases.

Positive methods of discipline will be used. These methods include limits that are fair, consistently applied, appropriate, and understandable for the child’s level of development, providing worded directions, modeling and redirecting children to acceptable behavior, helping children express feelings in appropriate ways, and arranging activities and schedules in a way that promotes desirable behavior. Corporal punishment will not be used under any circumstances. When time out is used as a discipline technique, it will be brief and appropriate to the child’s development level.
